Vestwell alternative for gig and 1099 workers

Vestwell sells retirement plans through employers, payroll platforms, banks and states. An individual cannot sign up for those employer plans directly. The exception is its Solo(k), which a self-employed person can set up.

Someone with 1099 income usually cannot join a Vestwell employer plan. Gigaverse covers irregular gig income with quarterly tax estimates, free calculators, a state auto-IRA tracker and guides. Retirement account opening is not available today.

What Gigaverse offers gig and 1099 workers

Gigaverse is for income that changes from week to week and can come from more than one platform, including Uber, DoorDash, Lyft, Instacart, Upwork, Stripe, Etsy and direct invoices. Quarterly tax estimates use the earnings you track. Mileage is a trip you start and stop. It is not background tracking.

Free calculators include Solo 401(k) vs SEP IRA, 1099 quarterly taxes and mileage. The state auto-IRA tracker lists each program, whether the employer mandate covers a 1099 contractor, and whether a self-employed person can enroll. Guides cover Solo 401(k) contribution limits, SEP IRAs and state auto-IRAs. An AI money coach answers with your own numbers.

Gigaverse does not offer a live retirement account. The PRActicle™ Roth IRA is waitlist-only and is not open today. Solo 401(k) and SEP IRA account opening is coming soon. Auto-invest is not available today.
