Questions owners ask

Does Gigaverse administer state retirement programs?+

No. Gigaverse does not administer, and has not been selected by, any state program. We are a software company focused on reaching gig and 1099 workers, and we want to work alongside states and their program administrators.

Why do gig workers fall outside state auto-IRA programs?+

State mandates apply to employers and their W-2 employees. Independent contractors and gig workers have no employer to enroll them, so most are never automatically enrolled even when self-enrollment is allowed.

Which states have no live program?+

By our tracker, 34 of 51 states and DC have no live auto-IRA program today, and 2 are launching. See the state-by-state tracker for sources and dates.

Can you respond to an RFI or RFP?+

Yes. Request a briefing and tell us your timeline; we will send a capabilities summary and respond to formal requests.
